“How To Find A Supplier On Alibaba”
Now that you decided on your first private label product to start selling on Amazon you need to find someone to make it for you. Dealing with suppliers overseas for the first time can be an intimidating task. Having to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on product and trusting that everything is going to be ok can be a lot to handle. Trust me I have been there….
In this episode “How To Find A Supplier On Alibaba” I cover all the important details that you will want to know when you are first starting to talk to suppliers. There is lots to know to make it a smooth process so I wanted to help you along the way so you can be one step closer to selling on Amazon.
Here is the list of questions to ask the Alibaba supplier which I talk about in the episode:
1. Can this product be private labeled?
2. How much are samples?
3. Are samples refundable if I place an order?
4. What are the payment terms?
5. Can the product be modified to meet your expectations?
6. Do they except Trade Assurance (If using Alibaba)
7. What is the lead time?

RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE:
Alibaba – This is one of the main sites I use for sourcing products to sell on Amazon. It’s a portal to get connected with suppliers and the site is improving all the time.
AliExpress – Another site for scouring products to sell. It’s similar to Alibaba but focuses more on smaller tester orders instead of huge bulk orders.
Global Sources – Similar to Alibaba this portal is a very high quality site to find products to source. It isn’t as well know as Alibaba but certainly should be part of your tool belt when looking for new products.
For all other resources and tools that I use in my Amazon business please see the resources link.
